Everyone is talking about the Milan Derby, but I want to point something out. The Serie A isn’t as easy as it may seem for these top teams. It’s true that there’s only a two point gap between the top 2 but if you look further down the table, you’ll notice that 3rd place Napoli has 59 pts already and Udinese has 56; only 6 points are separate the teams in 1st and 4th. With 8 more rounds still left in the Serie A, anything can still happen.
Speaking of these teams, I’d like to set our sights on Udinese. The last round of matches will feature Udinese hosting none other than AC Milan. I don’t think anyone will be able to predict who’ll emerge victorious between these two; at least not this early. We’re better off waiting and observing the coming rounds first. Take AC Milan for instance, lined up to face them are Inter Milan, Sampdoria at the San Siro, and they’ll face Florentine, Roma, and Udinese on the road. Take note though, AC Milan didn’t earn 3 points when they met with Sampdoria, Roma, and Udinese earlier in the season.
From where I stand, Udinese has the easiest fixture among the top 4. Inter has at least 2 Champions League matches left with the possibility of tougher challenges ahead should they beat Schalke 04.
Udinese hasn’t lost a single match in their last 13 matches. They got clean sheets in the last 7 rounds and scored 14 in the last 4 matches. Their next opponent is Lecce. Lecce’s hard to deal with when they’re at home but do you really think they can stop Udinese’s rampage? Entreprenuer
My pick is an away win.
