“What a week…. Football action 24-7 thanks to the Premiership running uninterrupted throughout the festive season…
I don’t know how many of you follow the various Fantasy football leagues, but I have to say that the last couple of group fixtures brought many surprises. Many of the in-form players failed to deliver and point gathering became more hard and challenging.
For this weekend, I will focus on the White Hart Lane London “derby”…. Host Spurs, following a series of successful results vs Chelsea, Villa and now Newcastle are waiting round the corner for Mark Hughes’ Cottagers to further improve their position in the Premiership table.
Spurs are an attacking side producing many chances and scoring relatively easy with 8 wins so far this season. At the same time, they are more than capable to keep a clean sheet when playing at home.
Fulham on the other side are having a disappointing run this season. I remember, years ago, when I used to live in London, the cottagers made a serious effort to establish themselves as a credible mid to top table team. I guess these days are over now and with a disappointing -6 goal difference with only 2W, 10D and 6L, I don’t expect them to give much trouble to Harry Redknapp’s side.
Verdict, home win and over
I would like to wish you all a happy New Year, full of prosperity, betting success, health and lots of fun.
