Distractions

Some small clubs don’t have enough players that could perform well both in league and cup matches. Especially in the Champions League where nerves play a huge factor in every match. Injuries play even a bigger in football that obviously bring down teams’ performance.

Let’s talk about Rosenborg for an example. Before they began the Champions League, they only lost once in 8 games. When they played in UEFA and in the domestic league, they lost 3 of their last 4 local matches including a Norway Cup match. Now you can see the contrasts.

In their next match, Rosenborg will visit Haugesund who have won their last 3 games. I know Rosenborg is a stronger team but I don’t think they can grab a victory at this point.
